You wake up in the middle of the night to a noise in the kitchen.

You walk down the carpeted stairs and look out the window.

It’s a beautiful autumn night — the leaves glow as if they’re burning under the light of the streetlamps.

The noise grows louder as you reach for the cold metal handle of the fridge.

You hear an eerie whisper in your mind as your eyes fall upon a bottle of chilled ale:

“Drink me,” it says.

The taste of sacred spices warms your body, and suddenly you’re back in your childhood —

trick-or-treating with the neighbors, eating candy, staying up late to watch scary movies.

“Good times,” you think, finishing the last sip.

Ingrédients: eau, orge, citrouille, sucre, houblon, épices pour tarte à la citrouille (cannelle, gingembre, piment de la Jamaïque, muscade, cardamome), levure

Ingredienti: acqua, orzo, zucca, zucchero, luppolo, spezie per torta di zucca (cannella, zenzero, pimento, noce moscata, cardamomo), lievito.
